I am a committed hand builder, and I really enjoy the slower and contemplative pace this affords me in the creation of my pieces. I work from my studio in a converted windmill in Suffolk, where I primarily work with stoneware using various techniques, including slip, sgraffito, oxides, and glazes. I'm always experimenting with form and design, and I find inspiration in the natural world, which keeps my work fresh and ever evolving.
